The DC Studios logo is set in a rainy Gotham alley
Following the events of The Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka the Penguin, is set to take over the criminal underworld of Gotham. He got into the character during the production of “The Penguin.” Colin Farrell fought hard to have his version of the Penguin in The Batman (2022), but was unsuccessful. For his own series, however, the character is depicted as a casual tobacco user who prefers cigars.
An umbrella falls and the logo changes to the Warner Bros
logo. Featured in Graham Norton and others: Lady Gaga/Demi Moore/Colin Farrell/Richard Ayoade/Jack Savoretti (2024). I thought Colin Farrell was great as the Penguin in Batman, but I never understood casting a skinny good-looking actor and giving him massive prosthetics and a fat suit…
who would be just as good
especially when I think he looks like some other famous actors. I also didn’t really understand why this spinoff was coming, and to be honest, I’m just getting tired of Batman reboots. But after episode 1, I will confirm that this show is amazing (so far).
But I didn’t expect to like it this much
I only watched it knowing that it was a must-watch bridge between the first and second movies, and my surprise enjoyment of Farrell in the role in the first. The acting is amazing, the writing is amazing, and it surprised me with a few quick twists. The biggest thing I liked was the fact that there was a lot more color in this than in Batman.
I hope it continues as well as it’s going, because I really can’t wait for the next episode
I noticed this almost immediately because that was a huge complaint for me about the movie (it felt like I was watching it through a Zack Snyder lens).
